Totally Fraud
When it comes to dating and relationships you expect a website to have a certain amount of care for its customers; after all aren’t they there to help you find friendship and love? Matches can be hundreds of miles away (in my case across the Irish Sea). My main gripe is the auto-renewal, which it will do after the initial subscription and you no longer have the right of withdrawal as it expires after the 14 day initial subscription. I had no email outlying the terms of the contract and I thought I’d set it up to NOT auto renew yet it did. So, read the Terms of the Contract carefully, make sure you check at least 7 days before that it will not auto renew and take snapshots of all your emails with regard to your subscription. The fact that they have clauses to stop you cancelling easily should in itself sound alarm bells. “They’re after your money love,” as we Yorkshire folk would say.

Not worth it
Paid for a subscription thinking payment would up the quality compared to other dating apps. There is no way to know who is a paid member. You send messages out and get no response. I either suck at messages or people aren’t paying members and can’t reply. Every time I logged in it was ‘happy hour’ but when refining by activity date was the same 10-20 profiles.

Abusive and harassing
It is a breeding ground which engenders sexual denigration towards women. I am a female service user who spent a few weeks on the dating app. Despite reporting a large number of sexist and sexually abusive and harassing comments the site did little about it. I realised that although the men were blocked from my account the site allowed them to continue on the app and were in no way penalised or made accountable for their behaviour.

This site is simply not worth the money
This site is simply not worth the money. The premium version is pointless because you cannot contact anyone. The premium version as not as good as the fremium service offered by dating apps Hinge, Bumble or Tinder. My contract was automatically renewed according to the terms and conditions even though I was barely using the service. There is no way of speaking to customer services and they do not refund or allow you to cancel. In this day and age such poor customer service is almost unheard of.

Avoid – Dead profiles. Waste of time. I’m reluctant to even give 1 star. I signed up for 6 months and was happy to pay and try it out. However, I decided to cancel after a week as I realised there were a lot of dead profiles on there. This got confirmed when I recently discovered they still have my profile on there, nearly 2 years since I cancelled and requested it be deleted.

Numerous emails daily, same people over and over again. I can understand going out of age range but I am pretty strict about gender. Also got renewed today, a heads-up about that would have been nice since I had intended to end my membership. That’s 120 dollars down the drain.

It is a complete waste of time
I tried this site out for a month. I had a few matches for the entire month even though I swiped right probably over a hundred times. I got an email from one of the matches and responded and then never heard from her again. I met another match in person and she happened to be a con artist who tried to steal from me. It is a complete waste of time. It may be fine for women but if you are a man try something else.

AVOID THIS SITE!
I signed up for a one day trial for. 99 and cancelled after the one day. The crooks then attempted to charge me for a month. I had to contest it with my credit card company and threaten legal action before they would refund the fraudulent charge. The reason I cancelled after one day was it became obvious very quickly the so called members were just fake scammers trying to ripe people off. AVOID THIS SITE!

Complete Waste of time and money
This website if full of inactive profiles. I was recently matched up with someone who turned out to be a fake profile. You really don’t know who are on these website, there are a lot of freaks out there these days. I would recommend you meet someone by going to a bar, concert or just “throw caution to the wind” and walk up to someone in your local starbucks and ask them out. Seriously, online dating is just a waste of time. I have tried POF, Match and now Anastasiadate. They are full of the same idiots. Luckily I only paid about $150 for the year.
